Quantum Circuits Seminar: Quantum Simulation DoRon Motter Tuesday, August 28 at 3:30pm EECS 2311 Currently a wide variety of quantum simulators are available, both freely and as commercial efforts. In a research setting, it is useful to have an awareness of what is available to avoid duplication of effort. A short survey of tools and methods for simulating quantum computation on a classical computer will presented. Different simulators have different target audiences, and this influences their design decisions. The strengths and weaknesses of several simulators will also be highlighted.
