Overview:MASCOTS will hold its 13th annual international meeting in the new Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center just adjacent to the Georgia Tech campus in vibrant Midtown, Atlanta. We encourage researchers world-wide to submit both theoretical and practical results of significance which have not previously been published elsewhere. The conference proceedings for MASCOTS 2005 will be published by the IEEE Computer Society. Scope:The scope of the symposium includes, but is not limited to:
Invited, Plenary SpeakersEach year, in addition to submitted papers, we invite a number of special speakers who help to highlight some aspect of computing and telecommunications, as well as their numerous application domains.(This year's plenary speakers have not yet been announced.) Submission Dates & ProceduresThe paper submission deadline has been extended by one week to May 13, 2005. The new deadline is firm. Please see our paper submission page for details on submitting papers and other items. We don't have a formal limit on length of submitted papers, but will limit final published papers to eight pages. Please don't submit excessively long papers however, as it will be difficult for the program committee to evaluate the contribution once it is reduced to the eight page limit.Tutorials:There will be a day of tutorials just before the conference, on September 26, 2005. To submit a proposal for a MASCOTS 2005 Tutorial, please email George Riley.Workshops:We have arranged for an extra day at the hotel during the conference for workshops (September 30, 2005). Interested persons may submit proposals for 1-day workshops to be held in conjunction with the conference.
