The International Workshop on Logic and Synthesis provides a research forum for the exchange of ideas pertaining to all aspects of synthesis, optimization, and verification of integrated circuits and systems. The emphasis is on novelty and intellectual rigour. The workshop encourages early dissemination of ideas and results. Accepted papers are distributed only to IWLS participants.

| Programming Challenge |
The workshop includes a programming challenge sponsored by IEEE CEDA. Students compete in the implementation of logic optimization algorithms with the OpenAccess Gear infrastructure. Travel grants and cash prizes are awarded for significant contributions. For more information, see the programming challenge home page.
