SUNY Binghamton is one of the four university centers in the SUNY system, well respected both within the system and nationally. The department offers accredited degrees at the BS, MS and PhD levels. Since 1997, the department has been engaged in an aggressive growth plan to upgrade all facets of research and teaching. Our hiring program has focused on attracting top researchers. Computer architecture (including parallel processing and VLSI systems design)
