Together with selected partners, Altera offers a wide range of development kits that contain everything an engineer needs to create and implement a design in hours. Altera download cables support in-system programming of Altera MAX® and configuration devices and in-circuit reconfiguration of Altera SRAM-based and embedded processor devices. The Altera Stand-Alone Programmer (ordering code PL-ASAP2), when used with the appropriate programming adapters, provides the hardware and software needed for conventional programming of Altera devices. The Altera Stand-Alone Programmer software is a stand-alone version of the MAX+PLUS® II Programmer software. It is not the full version of the MAX+PLUS II software, but an engineer can use it to program, verify, examine, and test Altera devices. Related Links |  | |
